Surf Parade Resort, Gold Coast

I had a somewhat mixed experience at the resort. While the pool area was well-kept and the ocean view from our room was stunning, I found the accommodation itself to be quite outdated, which really detracted from my overall enjoyment. The location was decent, requiring a bit of a walk to nearby dining options, but thankfully, the facilities were enjoyable. The room cleanliness was a plus, but I wished for more modern amenities.

I had quite a mixed experience at this hotel. On the plus side, the spacious apartments offered a nice view and the pool area was very enjoyable. However, I found the rooms to be dated and not as clean as I would have liked, which detracted from the overall experience.

I had such a lovely stay here! The apartment was clean and bright with a spacious balcony perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunset. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed. The only downsides were a couple of annoying fire alarm incidents during the night and some minor cleanliness issues with the sofa. Overall, this place offered excellent value for money.

My stay was quite the mix; while the swimming pool area was neat and well maintained, the apartment itself left much to be desired. It felt seriously outdated and not at all what I expected from a so-called 'resort.' The staff were generally helpful, but they seemed limited in what they could do for my issues. If I had known how rundown the apartment would be, I would have chosen a different place, even if it meant paying a bit more.
